We are going back to the 80’s to early 90’s Here but my favorite pair of shoes were a tan suede pair of cowboy boots that had fringe running down the back of the boots. Just the sound they made as I walked made me happy.

Where did they Take Me?

They took me all over Europe and Southeastern North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland.

They took me through heartbreak. Dancing the night away. Trafalger Square New Years Eve 1990. Meeting my husband and the birth of my first child. I cried the day those boots could no longer be repaired.

Many Shoes later…

I have Had special shoes since. The shoes I wore to my Daughters weddings. The shoes I wore to my son’s graduation. The shoes I wore to my Father’s funeral. But none have touched my soul the way those boots did.
